The lost boys
Alepho, Benson, and Benjamin are three of the many boys from Sudan.
During the boys childhood they encountered many struggles on their journey to escape to America.
The three boys had to fight and struggle to leave Sudan because of the tragic civil wars going on during the 1980s to 2005.
The boys encountered many problems during their long and hard journey as kids living in Sudan.
Getting shot at, over coming starvation and dehydration, The three brave boys lost their parents, friends, and loved ones along their long and stressful journey.
Overcoming yellow fever and many other diseases, the boys successfully escaped from the SPLA (Sudan People's Liberation Army) in 2001 and safely made it into America where they now live to tell their story of life in Sudan.
After reading this very upsetting book, I give it three out of five stars.
It was hard for me to understand why so many young men and women could be treated in such a way.
I did not like that so many young boys and girls were tortured, sometimes killed and lost friends and loved ones.
Though I didn’t like all the violance that went on I wouldn’t change anything about the book.
After reading this book I feel very greatful for the world that I have grown to know. I admire these Three Brave Boys
for their couage and strong hearts. I would recomend this book to anyone. I feel that all should read this book and understand
what is going on in todays world.
